Duration: Initial 12-month Contract
We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building innovative, enterprise-grade applications for the financial services industry. You'll design and develop scalable software solutions, contribute to technical design, and work with modern cloud technologies to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications
- Build RESTful APIs and distributed microservices
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- Contribute to technical design and solution architecture
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
Skills & Experience
- 3 years' experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes and AWS (EKS preferred)
- Strong REST API development experience
- Experience with Git, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Agile development experience
- Familiarity with AI engineering tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Angular or JavaScript experience
- AWS cloud services
- Test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
