We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer for an initial 6-month contract based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team building innovative digital products that support thousands of customers across the wealth management space.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys taking ownership, driving technical initiatives, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative Agile environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with a strong focus on quality and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and help drive technical excellence across the team.
- Play a key role in delivering innovative digital experiences for customers.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years' experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
- Solid experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular (or a similar modern JavaScript framework).
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Someone who takes ownership, drives delivery, and enjoys mentoring others.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing Virtual Assistants or Chatbot solutions.
- Previous experience working within financial services or enterprise environments.
