Urgent Hire |Windows Server Engineer| Contract

•          Duration: Initial 5 months contract (With Extension)
•          Location: Bern, Hybrid with Tuesday mandatory in office day
•          Daily Rate: 750 CHF - 900 CHF per day (negotiable)

Windows Server Engineer is responsible for the stable, secure, and automated operation of the Windows Server infrastructure. They ensure smooth operation and continuously develop the system landscape.

Responsibilities include:
  • Engineering, operation, and further development of Windows Server environments
  • Automation of operational and deployment processes using PowerShell and Ansible
  • Management and design of Group Policies
  • Patch and update management, including WSUS
  • Participation in infrastructure projects and support in 2nd and 3rd level support
Technical Requirements

High expertise required in:
  • Windows Server (design, operation, troubleshooting) PowerShell (scripting and automation)
  • Ansible (good to very good knowledge)
Must have: CI/CD-Pipeline & Git Experience, Windows Server, PowerShell, Ansible, SAFe & German knowledge

Good to intermediate knowledge in:
  • VMware (vSphere)
  • Group Policies
  • Windows Update / WSUS
  • Python
Basic knowledge in:
• Linux

Business/job-related skills:
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Git experience
Expertise and methodological competence:
 SAFe knowledge

Personal skills:
  • Ability to deal with complex issues
