Technical Business Analyst – Big Data & Regulatory Reporting - Hybrid

We've had a new role just go live with one of our multinational clients in the managed services space. We’re seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong big‑data, ETL, and banking regulatory knowledge. You’ll play a key role in analysing complex datasets, improving data workflows, and supporting high‑impact regulatory reporting initiatives.What You’ll Do
  • Analyse and model data across big‑data environments.
  • Develop and optimise workflows using KNIME and advanced SQL.
  • Support regulatory reporting with clear documentation and analysis.
  • Review and remediate complex EUC structures.
  • Work closely with technical and non‑technical teams to deliver data solutions.
What You Bring
  • 5–8 years in a data‑centric role within banking/financial services.
  • Strong experience in big data, ETL concepts, data analysis, and modelling.
  • Hands‑on KNIME and SQL expertise.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
  • Linux/Bash or Python scripting experience.
  • Knowledge of data governance in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI/Tableau.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Interest in AI/ML applications in data workflows.
