Senior Business Analyst – Global HR Transformation – HIRING ASAP

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months, with a view to extend to 12 months
Location: Remote working with visits to the Reading office a couple of times per month
Rate: £400 - £470 per day inside IR35

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Workday Learning (LMS) to support the delivery of HR technology and learning transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, IT, and vendors to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and deliver scalable Workday Learning solutions that align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities across Workday Learning projects and enhancements.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Analyse current learning processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, IT, and external partners to design effective solutions.
  • Support configuration discussions, testing (UAT), defect management, and deployment activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and training materials.
  • Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on HRIS or Workday projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Workday Learning (LMS), including learning administration and business processes.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting testing, UAT, and business readiness activities.
Desirable
  • Experience with broader Workday HCM modules.
  • Relevant Business Analysis certification (e.g., BCS, IIBA) or Workday certification.
  • Experience working within large, complex organisations and digital transformation programmes.
