We're partnering with a leading global financial services organisation that is investing heavily in digital innovation and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing Agile engineering team.
This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platforms used by thousands of customers worldwide, leveraging cloud-native technologies, modern engineering practices, and AI-assisted development tools. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and delivering high-quality software solutions within an Agile environment. Working alongside Product Owners, Architects, Technical Leads and fellow Engineers, you'll help shape the technical direction of strategic digital products while championing engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable full stack applications
Develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Build modern front-end applications using Angular and/or React
Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS and Kubernetes
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical decision-making
Drive test automation and engineering best practices
Collaborate with distributed Agile teams across multiple locations
Provide production support when required
Work closely with Product Owners, Architects and Technical Leads to enhance the platform and influence technical direction
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in software development
Strong hands-on experience with:
Java
Spring Boot
Angular and/or React
REST API development
AWS
Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines
A solid understanding of Agile (Scrum) delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to mentor others and provide technical leadership
Experience working within distributed development team
Nice to Have
Financial services or other regulated industry experience
Exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
