Senior Full Stack Engineer (React / Node.js / TypeScript)
Location: Munich (Hybrid)

A growing technology company operating in the travel, pricing, and commerce space is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its engineering team in Munich.
The company builds complex, data-driven platforms used by major organisations across the tourism and logistics sectors, with a strong focus on scalable pricing systems, analytics, and modern e-commerce infrastructure. Their environment combines high-impact product engineering with modern cloud-native architecture and event-driven systems.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team working closely with the CTO, with genuine ownership across architecture, feature development, and production systems.
The Role
You’ll work across both frontend and backend systems, building scalable applications and services used in production environments with real-world complexity and high traffic.
The role is genuinely full stack, with flexibility for engineers who may lean slightly more frontend or backend, provided they are comfortable contributing across both areas.
You’ll be involved in:
  • Building modern web applications and user-facing features
  • Developing scalable backend services and APIs
  • Designing and operating cloud-native systems
  • Owning features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through to deployment and production support
  • Contributing to technical decisions, system design, and platform evolution
  • Working closely with a small, experienced engineering team in a fast-moving environment

What They’re Looking For
  • Strong experience as a Full Stack Engineer in modern web environments
  • Good knowledge of both frontend and backend development
  • Experience building and operating production systems
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and scalable architectures
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and distributed systems
  • Comfortable working in smaller teams with high ownership and autonomy
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Nice to have:
  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Exposure to complex SQL/data-heavy applications
  • Interest in AI-assisted or agent-driven development workflows
  • German language skills (not required, but beneficial)
