The Role
We're seeking an experienced Data Tester with a banking/investment management background to validate reporting and analytics solutions on a modern Microsoft Fabric platform — working alongside Data Engineers and Architects to validate source-to-target data movement, business rules, and reconciliations. Initial focus is functional and data validation, with automation introduced gradually.
Key Responsibilities
- Test end-to-end data pipelines; validate transformations and business rules
- Verify data quality/integrity and perform reconciliations
- Execute regression, integration and functional testing
- Resolve defects with Data Engineers; support gradual test automation
- Participate in Agile delivery
Essential Skills
- Commercial Data/ETL Tester experience, strong SQL
- Pipeline validation and source-to-target reconciliation
- Functional and data validation testing
- Agile experience; banking/investment management background
