Senior Mobile Engineer – Angular / Ionic

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Rate: Up to €400 per day

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong Angular front-end development experience and a proven track record of building responsive web and hybrid mobile applications across iOS and Android.

You’ll develop and enhance high-quality digital applications, collaborating with developers, architects and UX/UI designers to deliver secure, scalable and seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive web applications using Angular, HTML and CSS.

  • Build and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Ionic, Capacitor or similar frameworks.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs and native mobile functionality.

  • Optimise application performance, troubleshoot issues and support mobile releases.

  • Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Angular front-end development experience.

  • Proven experience building web and mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

  • Practical experience with Ionic, Capacitor or equivalent hybrid mobile frameworks.

  • Knowledge of Angular state management, including NgRx or signals.

  • Experience integrating REST APIs and understanding secure application development.

  • Familiarity with mobile deployment, performance optimisation and testing.
