Title: Platform Engineer (Contact Centre Platform)Location: Galway, Ireland (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote) Contract: 6 Months Salary: €270 - €279 per day Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end platform engineering for a mission-critical contact center system (Genesys)Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to drive measurable improvements in associate experience and customer satisfaction.Lead initiatives from ideation to implementation, including provisioning, automation, testing, and operational excellence.Influence architecture and design standards while simplifying complexity through smart solutions.Provide 24/7 stability and uptime to one of the most high-impact systems in the organization.Experience and qualifications required: 3–5 years of experience in voice/digital communication systems or contact center platforms.Strong technical leadership, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.Deep knowledge of:VoIP, SIP, softphone software, and telephony protocols.Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible, Jenkins) and container tech (Docker).Protocols like HTTP, SIP, TLS, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP.Experience navigating enterprise-scale architecture with an eye toward high availability and continuity.Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps practices.
