Senior Product Manager – Finance Automation Platform

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to build and own a new Finance Platform domain within a growing Core Platform organisation.
You will bridge Finance and Engineering, translating complex financial requirements into scalable product solutions that automate processes, improve data quality and ensure reliable financial reporting. This is a greenfield opportunity to define the product strategy, roadmap and long-term direction of a new domain.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own the product domain: Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and priorities, aligning Finance needs with business objectives.
  • Bridge Finance and Engineering: Translate complex financial and accounting requirements into scalable platform capabilities, working closely with Finance, Engineering and other Product teams.
  • Drive automation and data quality: Improve reconciliation, financial reporting and accounting workflows, reducing manual effort and ensuring accurate, consistent and auditable data.
  • Build for scale: Establish effective ways of working, manage stakeholder priorities and define KPIs to measure automation, reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Shape the future: Develop the long-term scope and ownership of Finance-related platform capabilities in a newly established domain.

What We're Looking For
  • Several years of Product Management experience, with proven end-to-end ownership of a product or platform domain, including strategy, roadmap and prioritisation.
  • Experience in Payments, FinTech, Finance or a similarly complex product environment, ideally involving backend systems, data-intensive products or financial workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers, complex processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Finance, Engineering and cross-functional Product teams.
  • A proactive, independent mindset and the ability to build structure, define direction and deliver impact in a greenfield environment.

Experience with Finance Automation, reconciliation, accounting systems, financial reporting or audit processes is a plus. Deep accounting expertise is not essential if you bring strong Product Management skills and relevant adjacent-domain experience.
